Verdi's Aida. After emigrating to the US in 1997 he performed Ariel Ramirez's Misa Criolla in California, Michigan, Switzerland, Italy and Argentina. He specialized in Belcanto repertoire singing from Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, to Puccini. In the Symphonic repertoire he sang Carmina Burana, as tenor and baritone, Gustav Mahler's Ruckert and Des Knaben Wunderhorn. In 2000 he became music director, stage director and choir conductor of Andanza Spanish Arts, performing the most famous Zarzuela or Spanish Opera scenes in the US.

" This song was originally sung by a legend of Argentine music, singer Mercedes Sosa. The story is about the clash of two cultures in the southern hemisphere"
“Two cultures: the European and the Indian. Love chose one.”

Yo no soy huinca, capitán
hace tiempo lo fui
deje que vuelva para el sur
déjeme ir allí.

Mi nombre casi lo olvidé
Dorotea Bazán
yo no soy huinca, india soy
por amor, capitán.

Me falta el aire pampa y el olor
de los ranqueles campamento
el cobre oscuro de la piel de mi señor
en ese imperio de gramilla
cuero y sol.

Usted se asombra capitán
que me quiera volver
un alarido de malón
me reclama la piel.

Yo me hice india y ahora estoy
más cautiva que ayer
quiero quedarme en el dolor
de mi gente ranquel.

Quiero quedarme en el dolor
de mi gente ranquel.
